Very much work in progress. More ships to be added.
The Akilae Eldar were first observed and engaged in the Hades Cascade (shown here). A turbulent hellish nebula near the center of the galaxy, full of gravity pits, singularities, and all manner of Warp phenomena. Imperial intelligence gave the unidentified ships the moniker of the "Ebon Fleet" due to the heavy matt black non-psycho reactive crystalline armor the ships had. The armor was found to voraciously consume all forms of energy, and it is theorized that the Eldar had created it to fuel their long travels in deep space while hunting the Nomad Moon, where the ubiquitous "solar sails" of their race would be more of a liability.
Here, two Revenirr assault-class cruisers are escorting an Irridiann dreadnought.
Revenirr assault cruisers, unlike much of other Akilae ships, were designed to fight at point blank range. In addition to it's Ebon armor, the Revenirr possesses a directional deflection shield, which can ward off even the most heaviest firepower, assuming the ship's engineers can place it where it is needed most at the right time. The assault cruiser's weaponry reflects it's role, revolving around it's centerline Fusion Lance array, supplemented by Wraithcannon batteries. The Revenirr also possesses a number of Vetra assault boats and battlepods capable of delivering Warsong-class Wraithlords for boarding operations.
Irridianns were designed many millions of years ago using much of the similar technologies seen with common Eldar laser technology, including the Fire Prism. The ship was actually built around an enormous weapon system known as a Prismatic Cannon, which is more than capable of burning through several Imperial frigates with a single blast, assuming the ship captains were foolish enough to be positioned in front of each other. The dreadnought was designed to combat Necron Tombships, highly durable and powerful warships capable of shrugging off all but the most devasting of weapons. Fulfilling something of a sniper role in the fleet, Irridianns are rarely ever risked in combat unless absolutely necessary, as aside from light weapons batteries and a small fighter bay, it is unable to defend itself at short range. Irridianns are rarely used for strategic orbital bombardment, but are believed to be responsible for Exterminatus actions, using their enormous cannons to ignite the entire atmosphere with wide dispersal beams. So far, only 5 such ships are known to exist.
